Pizarro holding up move

Soccer - Carling Cup - Semi Final - First Leg - Chelsea v Everton - Stamford Bridge

Carlo Ancelotti’s attempt to bring Andrea Pirlo to Chelsea has hit a snag, with Claudio Pizarro considering whether to move to Milan.

Pizarro, according to The Mail on Sunday, has asked for time to think about the move, leaving the Blues in limbo as they await a decision.

Chelsea, however, are prepared to pay the full €18m, should the former Bayern Munich hitman refuse to move to the Italian peninsula.

Pizarro's best bet for regular football seems to be with the Rossoneri, so it would seem peculiar that he is taking a long time to deliberate what is the best course of action for his career
