Italian powerhouse AC Milan have hit a snag in their bid to capture Real Madrid striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar.
Reports claim that Real Madrid are now expecting £13m rather than a free loan for their Dutch hitman.
According to Sky Sports, Rossoneri representatives Adriano Galliani and Ariedo Braida have met with Los Blancos chief Florentino Perez in Spain to settle the matter.
Milan would require a free transfer for the Dutch international as they have their transfer kitty allocated for their other target, Sevilla's Luis Fabiano.
With Fabiano himself requesting for a move to the San Siro, it is likely that Sevilla could release the player for less than his €30m buy-out clause.
The Rossoneri are out to bolster their strike force following Kaka's departure, with both players prolific in front of goal, the more ‘financially-sound' striker could prove the deciding factor.
