Caceres arrives at Juventus for medical

France v Uruguay - International Friendly

Barcelona defender Martin Caceres is expected to complete his move to Juventus on Wednesday.

According to TMW, the 22-year-old was aboard a plane that landed in Turin, and despite not speaking upon his arrival, he looked to be in a positive mood.

The Uruguay international will undergo a Juve medical this morning and all being well, he will sign forms in the afternoon.

Caceres will ink a season-long loan with the option of making the deal permanent for £8 million.

The latest reports go on to suggest that Caceres may sign on loan with the Bianconeri after all, with the option of purchasing him outright in 12 months' time.

If the talented defender does sign for the Old Lady, then he will become the club’s fourth significant signing of the summer, following Fabio Cannavaro, Diego and Felipe Melo.
