Milan snub Chelsea's Pirlo bid

Arsenal v AC Milan - UEFA Champions League

Italian giants AC Milan have been reported to have rejected a bid for Andrea Pirlo from Chelsea.

According to The Daily Mail, the big-spending English club had made a €10 million offer, the deal would also include Claudio Pizarro, and Michael Mancienne on loan.

The Sun, however, reported that a bid in the region of €14.5m and Pizarro alone have been put on the table, and subsequently turned down by the Rossoneri.

A ‘Milan insider' had claimed that Pirlo is "worth £35m".

Andrea Pirlo has made 233 appearances and scored 31 goals for AC Milan since he joined the club in 2001.
