Croatia and Arsenal striker Eduardo da Silva is not optimistic about the Gunners' title chances this season.
Arsenal have been weakened after losing striker Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure to big-spending Manchester City.
Last season, they struggled to a fourth place finish only after the acquistion of playmaker Andrey Arshavin in the middle of the season.
Speaking to Sportske novosti, Eduardo said of Arsenal's chances of challenging for the title: "It will be very hard, really very, very hard."
"Now Kolo Toure is also leaving, so I don't know."
"But of course Arsenal is a club which is always looking for the top spots. I think our main goal will be to be in the top four next season."
The Croatian international also suggested Manchester City would struggle to win the Premier League this year.
He also added Mark Hughes could struggle to accommodate all of his strikers in the same team.
