Baptista not moving to city!

AS Roma forward Julio Baptista will not be moving to Premier League money-bags Manchester City according to the players agent.

The giant striker arrived at the Italian club after falling out of favour at Real Madrid and according to the Italian press, he could be on the move again.

However with speculation linking him to a move to City the player's agent, Herminio Menendez, has dismissed that possibility.

Speaking to Romagiallorossa.com he said "Julio Baptista to Manchester City? Those stories are completely unfounded. I categorically deny it.

"Julio is very happy to stay in Rome and wants to win in Rome. I am smiling because of the suggestion of Baptista to Man City - will they buy all the players in the world?"

The former Sevilla and Arsenal man has had an inconsistent campaign with Roma, scoring nine times in 27 appearances in Serie A action.

He is currently training with the Brazil national team ahead of the Confederations Cup in South Africa that will kick-off on June 14.
