Trezeguet to City in Elano swap?

David Trezeguet may be on his way to the blue half of Manchester, in a swap deal that would see Manchester City's Elano joining Juventus.

The former France international and current Juventus striker is allegedly being chased by a number of clubs, including City, Roma, Villarreal and Liverpool.

With City's Brazilian midfielder Elano seeking a move to the Serie A, a transfer-swap deal could soon be in the works.

Although Elano has made it clear that his first-choice destination is Serie A champions Inter Milan, a move to Turin may be just as appealing.

City manager Mark Hughes and his Middle-East-based bosses are looking to build a team capable of securing European football next season, and would likely be interested in doing business with Juve.

For his part, Trezeguet has stated he is unsure about his future with club.

"We will see in the future and everything will be discussed in time.

" It will be an important decision as I have been here for nine years. All I know is that I will be present for when we get back to work on July 3."
