Giovinco to stay at Juve

Sebastian Giovinco

Sebastian Giovinco's agent is confident that the young Italian's future is with ‘The Old Lady'.

Reports have come in that the ‘atom ant' could make a move away from Turin, namely to Udinese.

The speculated transfer would be part of Juve's move to land midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino.

His agent, D'Amico was quick to dispel these rumours and was certain that his client will stay where he is.

Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb.com, he said: "Giovinco has the will to take his chances at Juventus and he had a good season last term."

"He is a pure talent and he has adapted so well, despite his age. The problem in Italy has always been with youngsters, but he is a mature player and he will be staying at Juventus."

Giovinco is touted as the heir to Juve legend Alessandro Del Piero, and has risen from the ranks of Juve's youth team.

He is one of many youngsters coming through the youth ranks while most other Italian clubs have chosen to neglect their academies.
