The Real Madrid transfer market juggernaut has already captured Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, and Florentino Perez’s next target, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has stated his desire to become the latest Galactico to jet into the Bernabeu.

The Swedish international is fresh from securing another league title with Internazionale in Serie A, and reports suggest that the interest from Los Blancos has led Ibrahimovic to consider his future in Italy.

Coach Jose Mourinho has set the forward a 20-day deadline to decide where he will be next season. Now Spanish newspaper Marca states that the 27-year old’s agent, Mino Raiola, has been involved in initial discussions with Madrid with a view to a possible transfer.

Ibrahimovic has expressed his interest in becoming a part of the new Galacticos being assembled under Perez, although the engineering magnate’s initial approach resulted in a €94m price tag being slapped on the player.

However, it is thought that ‘Ibra’ would even be willing to pay €3m to escape his contract at the San Siro.The main stumbling block, Marca continues, could be his exhorbitant wage demands.
