Borussia Dortmund have signed midfielder Sven Bender from second division 1860 Munich in a swap deal for Antonio Rukavina.Rukovina, who spent the second half of last season on loan at 1860, has now signed a permanent three-year deal with the Lions.
Bender, who impressed for Germany's under-19s this summer, has been given a four-year contract at Dortmund.
"We wish Sven all the best with the continuation of his career with Dortmund and hope he can realise his sporting ambitions there," said 1860 director of sport Miroslav Stevic, a former Dortmund player.
Bender, who has played 65 times for 1860, is Dortmund's fourth summer signing after Markus Feulner, Kevin Grosskreutz and Dimitar Rangelov.
