The former Estudiantes player has been linked with San Lorenzo but Gomez said that the Andalusian club have no interest in letting him go.
"Pavone's future is to play in Betis next year and next season. The coach (Antonio Tapia) counts on him and we can not let him go at any cost," said Gomez to TyC Sports television network.
"There will not be any negotiation. I am convinced that this year he will enjoy playing in Betis and he will be one of our top scorers.
"He will be a key man in the squad."
