Wolfsburg expect second Milan bid

Wolfsburg are expecting another offer from AC Milan for striker Edin Dzeko, despite turning down an initial approach.

The Rossoneri seem set to return with a second bid for the 23 year-old, with reports suggesting vice-president Adriano Galliani will visit the Northern Germany city in the next few days to discuss a deal.

Wolves general manager Jurgen Marbach would be willing to open negotiations for the right price, having already turned down a 30million euro bid.

"We don't have an official inquiry from Milan, but I have been given the impression Milan's interest is not over yet," said Marbach.

"We would not close the door to any talks. We have all the time in the world."

Reports in Italy suggest Marco Borriello may be offered to Wolfsburg as part of the deal, although the Italian does not appear keen on a move to the Bundesliga.

After a season blighted by injury, Borriello seems intent on making the breakthrough in Milan next season, while he has also has attracted interest from other Serie A sides.
