Elano ??

Brazilian International Elano is understood to be on the radar of Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho, with the former CHELSEA manager keen to take the Manchester City player to the San Siro, according to reports.

27-year-old Elano has blown hot and cold for City since arriving in the Premier League from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2007, with it now understood that the Brazilian playmaker has fallen out with Citizens manager Mark Hughes. It claimed Elano is unhappy at being deployed on the left-wing at the Eastlands Stadium.

Mourinho is said to feel that Elano would prosper in Serie A as the Portuguese prepares to defend the Scudetto for the Nerazzurri in his second season in charge at the San Siro.

The Milanese club have been linked with a move for two of Mourinho’s former players at Porto, Deco and Ricardo Carvalho, who are both now at Chelsea, but Mourinho could move for Elano instead of formerBarcelona player Deco.

Inter feeling that an offer of around £8million will be enough to lure Elano away from the Eastlands. Despite the Brazilian still having two-years to run on his present deal at City, where he has scored 14 goals in 62 Premiership appearances.
