Real look to secure Trezeguet

US Citta di Palermo v Juventus FC - Serie A

Juventus striker David Trezeguet is the latest player to be linked with Real Madrid as the Spanish giants continue their rebuilding.

Antonio Caliendo, Trezeguet's agent, says Los Merengues are "very interested" in the French World Cup winner.

Caliendo, who took part in the Italian TV show ‘Diretta Stadio' expressed that Juve are looking to sell the hit man, and earlier reports in Italy confirmed this.

The former Monaco man is still regarded as one of the best strikers in Europe and Los Blancos President Florentino Perez would certainly fancy signing the star, who would add experience and clinical finishing.

Caliendo added that his client would be more than satisfied with a move to La Liga, although some Premier League clubs have also approached the Old Lady.

Juventus could look to replace the 32-year-old with Italy starlet Giuseppe Rossi, while Real Madrid might also offer them a part-exchange deal, with at least nine players reported to be leaving the Bernabeu in Perez's summer of change.
