Molinaro could return sooner

Juventus v SV Hamburg - Emirates Cup

Juventus have received a boost on the injury front as Cristian Molinaro does not need surgery to correct a longstanding injury.

However, the Bianconeri are still going to scour the globe for another left-back, just in case.

"The tests have shown dramatic improvement for the player, which has therefore removed the requirement of surgery," Dr. Bartolomeo Goitre was quoted as saying by TMW.

"As a direct result of this, his recovery time will be shortened."

"Molinaro will be submitted for further checks on July 8, and it is possible that he could be back training with the team the following day."

As mentioned, although the news for Molinaro is positive, the Old Lady are still looking at the likes of Fabio Grosso and Andrea Dossena to bolster their squad this offseason.
