Pato wants to be part of Blues

AC Milan v Lecce - Sere AAC Milan striker Alexandre Pato is pleading with Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti to sign him on a move to Stamford Bridge.

Pato is at the top of Ancelotti's list, as he attempts to inject the Blues' ageing team with youth.

Ancelotti was the coach responsible for blooding the Brazilian youngster, signing him from Internacional in 2007. "The Duck's" rich vein of form in two seasons has resulted in Milan slapping a £45million price tag on Pato.

Pato said: "Carlo Ancelotti is very important to me, as a coach and a person."

"I feel a sense of owing him a great deal. I have a contract with Milan, but I would be interested if Ancelotti were to call."
